Booking and Payment
Bookings are confirmed once the deposit has been paid. We ask for a £100 non-refundable deposit.
Full payment must be made one calendar month before the date of hire. Failure to do so may result in our cancellation of hire
The Company is not registered for VAT which means the price quoted is the amount due. There are no extras to pay unless extra services are requested on the day of the service, these requests are at the discretion of the company and will be charged at our hourly rate.
If you wish to cancel your booking, we must receive written notice no later than one month before the hire date otherwise the full hire will be required to be paid. Exceptional circumstances will be considered respectfully on an individual case basis.
Damage to Vehicle
The principle hirer will be responsible for the conduct of all passengers during the service and we reserve the right to invoice or make a charge to the hirer for any losses or damage sustained to any part of the vehicle caused by any passenger or a third party incited to cause damage to the vehicle. A minimum charge of £100 will be applied to cover valet costs should fouling be caused by any passenger through food, drink or illness.
Smoking is not permitted in or around the vehicle. In the event of damage to the exterior of the van, the hirer is liable for all repairs. The driver reserves the right to terminate the booking immediately if it is deemed the vehicle is at risk of mal-treatment and no refund will be given.
Dub Vintage have the right to cancel a booking.
Breakdown and Late Arrival
We make every effort to maintain our vehicles and they are regularly serviced and maintained. However due to their age we cannot accept responsibility for mechanical, electrical or material breakdown. In the unlikely event of breakdown every effort will be made to repair the vehicle Where this is not possible, every attempt will be made to provide alternative transport and driver free of charge in order for your big day to go ahead as smoothly as possible. If another VW is available we will aim to provide this as alternative transport but this is not guarenteed.
Whilst we will make every effort to arrive punctually at your address and destination we cannot not be held responsible for late arrival or cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control. This includes but is not limited to; Breakdowns, accidents, weather conditions. We will not be responsible for any impact that a delay might cause through missed connections, cancelled functions or engagements. The company recommend that you are covered with adequate travel insurance.
Insurance and Safety
We have full vehicle and public liability insurance for your peace of mind.
Due to the age of our vehicle, seatbelts are not required ( although we do have seat belt on the rear bench seat of Nina and in the front passenger seat) Children under 18 must travel at their own risk and must be accompanied by an adult in the vehicles. We recommend that children requiring a booster seat travel in a different vehicle and we cannot transport children and babies under the age of 3 years.
We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property or luggage whilst using our vehicles.
We cannot be held responsible for any injuries caused through accidents, be it our fault or a third party.
Photographs and Promotional Activity
We often like to take photographs on the wedding day of our vehicles and guests. These may be used on our website or shown on social media. If you prefer us not, please advise us at time of booking and of course we will respect your wishes.
We are constantly maintaining and updating our vehicles. While we endeavour to update our website regularly, the vehicle pictures may not reflect the latest interior furnishings.
